On October 19, 2004 a Forum on School Funding was facilitated by the League of Women Voters of Evanston.  The featured speaker, Ralph Martine of the Center for Tax and Budget Accountability presented an overview of why Illinois schools are in crisis and discussed current legislation -- HB750,Senate Amendments 1 & 2 --  that has been proposed to address the crisis.
